Return and Cancellation Policy

Policy Overview

zenwaxcandle provides event planning and organization services. Due to the custom nature of our services and the significant resources committed to each project, our cancellation and refund policies are designed to be fair to both parties. Please review this policy carefully before engaging our services.

Service Cancellation

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our contact form. Cancellation policies vary based on the timing of the cancellation relative to the event date:

  • Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event date may be eligible for a partial refund, minus a cancellation fee of 20% of the total service cost.
  • Cancellations made between 30-60 days before the event date may be eligible for a refund of 50% of unused services, minus applicable fees.
  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event date are not eligible for refunds due to commitments made with vendors and suppliers.

Deposit and Payment Policy

All service agreements require a non-refundable deposit to secure our services. This deposit covers initial consultation, planning time, and reservation of our calendar. The deposit amount and payment schedule are detailed in individual service agreements. Final payments are typically due 14 days before the event date.

Refund Processing

If you are eligible for a refund:

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used
  • Any third-party vendor fees already paid cannot be refunded
  • Administrative fees may apply as specified in your service agreement

Modifications to Services

We understand that event details may change. Modifications to service scope, event date, or other details may be accommodated when possible, subject to availability and additional fees if applicable. Significant changes may require a new service agreement. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss modifications to your event planning services.

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other force majeure events, we will work with clients to reschedule services when possible. Refund eligibility in such circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
